Requirements

 

1.Microsoft .NET Framework v4.6.2.

2.AF SDK version 2.8 or above.

3.A service account is needed to run the engine:

•It must have read/write permissions on the AF Database where the data will be transferred to.

•It must also have read/write permissions on the corresponding PI tags that are linked to the device AF attributes.

4.Connectivity to a PI Asset Framework database.

5.Connectivity to the Movus Cloud Web API (https://api.movus.com.au/public/prod/).

 

Installation

1.Run the MovusFMtoPIConnector Setup wizard to install it.

2.Enter the details of the service account described in the requirements when needed during the install process.

This will install the engine to the C:\Program Files\Dimension Software\MovusFMtoPIConnector directory by default.

Logging

Logs are created daily in the C:\Program Files\Dimension Software\MovusFMtoPIConnector\Logs directory by default. Detailed logging may be disabled to reduce log file sizes. Logs older than 30 days are automatically deleted.

Enable detailed logging to assist with troubleshooting issues if required.

These behaviours may be adjusted in the engine settings file.
